Behold, Spring Has Come!

The whole creation sees the love of God manifest in the wildly extravagant displays of Spring… every nation, no matter their culture, place in time, or religion, instinctively recognizes that an incredible Resurrection love is shining down upon us, one that is greater than anything we’ve ever  known.

“Behold, my brothers, the spring has come. The earth has received the embraces of the sun and we shall soon see the results of that love! Every seed is awakened and so has all animal life. It is through this mysterious power that we too have our being and we therefore yield to our neighbours, even our animal neighbours, the same right as ourselves to inhabit this land. My love of our native soil is wholly mystical.” – Sitting Bull

“But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. “For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? “If you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? “Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. – Jesus Christ, Matthew 5:43-45

“The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else. From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’- Paul of Tarsus

No quite officially spring, but today was surely a spring day here!

Hope to stay up this night and see if any of those solar flares might light up the night!
