Church Is Facing a ‘Dietrich Bonhoeffer Moment,’ Can No Longer Be Silent.

I heard Larry Tomczak speak years ago at North Coast Christian Community in Brunswick, Ohio. So it’s interesting to me that he has said this, I’ve been thinking about this myself lately. That this is still our calling, our responsibility within the greater context of our culture.

To speak out, to turn on the light, is what we are here to do.

If I remember correctly, Bonhoeffer became aware of an increasing crisis of conscience that drove him to make the ultimate statement regarding the elimination of evil in the land he loved.

We can do no less.
